To ensure that every journey with Getaway Camper Hire is safe, enjoyable, and stress-free, we ask that all customers adhere to our hiring rules. These guidelines are designed to protect you, our vehicles, and future travellers. Please take a moment to review the following rules before embarking on your adventure:
- All damages must be reported upon return
- Strictly NO smoking inside the van
- Pets only if pre-approved by us
- Pickup and Drop off times to be pre-arranged
- Off-road use requires approval, travel itinerary will be required
- Hirer must be at least 25 years old
- EMERGENCY - If an accident occurs, get off the road, stay safe, call Camplify on 1300 416 133 - they call the NRMA
- DAMAGE - If damage happens, you must report it immediately - who, what, where and when will be required
- Annex must be packed away during extreme weather conditions
- CLEANING - The camper needs to be returned in the same condition as picked up to avoid cleaning charges- please look after it! it should be cleaned thoroughly on the inside. Outside and Underneath should be cleaned if taken off-road
- Cleaning Charges will incur if not cleaned. $200 fee for interior cleaning, $200 fee for outside cleaning
- Chemical toilet must be properly cleaned out if used. if not done properly cleaning fee of $250 will apply
- Any Damage (not including wear and tear) will be the responsibility of the hirer. This includes damage to the body, suspension, tyre punctures, rips/tears in the canvas, fabric, flyscreens, stains and any other breakages/damages that could have been avoided
